Voices of September 11th
Healing Families & Communities After Tragedy

Dear Families and Friends,

This weekend, we honor the special men in our lives.  Our fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers and those individuals who have taken on the role of a father in our lives - coaches, colleagues, mentors and friends - have all shaped us into the people we are today.

Father's Day is a day of reflection for many, as we remember those who aren't with us.  On this special day we remember the many men, of all ages, who were lost on 9/11, whose lives we learned about through working with their families on the 9/11 Living Memorial Project.  We also remember the responders and survivors who died from medical conditions after working in the recovery effort, and the military who perished serving our country.  Their memory and legacy live on through our shared values, passed on from one generation to another.

We will especially be thinking of them, and send our best wishes to your family for a peaceful weekend!

Warm regards,
