VOICES of September 11th to host two-day commemorative program in NYC on Sept. 10th and 11th

NEW CANAAN, CT—September 8, 2005— Voices of September 11th , one of the leading 9/11 family advocacy groups will host a two-day Commemorative Program in New York City on September 10th and 11th, 2005 to mark the fourth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. VOICES will host an Information Forum on September 10th for 9/11 family members, survivors and rescue workers. VOICES will also host a Commemorative Luncheon featuring a presentation of VOICES’ “Building Bridges awards” to four Congressional Leaders for 9/11 legislation.
Both events are open to the press.

Both events will be held at the Marriott Financial Center Hotel, 85 West Street, New York City (one block south of the former WTC site).

September 10, 2005: VOICES of September 11th INFORMATION FORUM:

Saturday, September 10th’s Information Forum includes panels on the WTC Memorial and the 9/11 Commission reforms as well as other issues related to 9/11. On-site registration for the Forum will begin at 10:30 am after the Take Back the Memorial Rally at Ground Zero concludes.

September 11, 2005: VOICES of Sept. 11th COMMEMORATIVE LUNCHEON:

Voices of September 11th’s Commemorative Luncheon on Sunday, September 11 will feature the presentation of VOICES’ 2005 “Building Bridges Awards” to Senator Joseph Lieberman, Senator Susan Collins, Congresswoman Jane Harman, Congressman Peter Hoekstra. Also honored will be the Robin Hood Foundation, represented by Emary Aronson. A press availability session with Sen. Collins, Cong. Harman, VOICES Founding Director Mary Fetchet and other 9/11 Family Members will be held between 11:15 am and 12:00 pm in the Traders Room on the second floor of the Marriott. It will be followed by a Commemorative Luncheon with award presentation that will begin at 12:15 pm and conclude by 2:30 pm
