Art by Seattle-area students, led by art teacher
Ms. Diane Burdnicki, who asked her students "to use art as a message. Kind of a vocabulary from their hearts, through their paintbrushes" to children affected by September 11th. The book was distributed to 9/11 families by VOICES.

See the Building Bridges Art Project, lovingly created by
Ms. Diane Burdnicki's Art Students. Ms. Burdnicki and her students traveled from Seattle, Washington to display the artwork on September 10th and 11th, at the
2005 VOICES of September 11th Commemorative Events held in New York City. The artwork was generously donated to
VOICES of September 11th.

Special Info 4 Caregivers

Dr. Robin Goodman, Director of VOICES Family Programs, provides information and strategies to parents and caregivers through teleconference groups and the VOICES website. These resources focus on parenting skills, understanding ongoing child and teen needs and building resiliency. Caregivers can read some of her letters here.
