          Dear Families and Friends,

It is just two short weeks until our inaugural Always Remember gala that will raise critical funds to continue our important work creating the 9/11 Living Memorial digital archive.  The gala will take place on Thursday, May 29th at the Greenwich Country Club in Greenwich, CT.   We hope you will be able to join us!

The event promises to be a very memorable evening, with many special guests and speakers, live and silent auctions and inspiring music from the world-renowned Harlem Gospel Choir.  NBC Nightly News Anchor Brian Williams will be the Master of Ceremonies, and ESPN’s Chris Berman will talk about the importance of team spirit following 9/11.  Other honored guests include 9/11 Commission Co-Chair Governor Thomas Kean, former Steelers quarterback Terry Hanratty and Alice Greenwald, Director of the National September 11 Memorial Museum.

As you know, over the past two years VOICES has hosted over fifty 9/11 Living Memorial workshops around the country.  Our staff has worked one-on-one with 9/11 families, rescue workers and survivors to archive hundreds of thousands of photographs and other important keepsakes.  Almost seven years after 9/11, VOICES is one of the few remaining 9/11 organizations providing vital resources to those impacted.  Your support of our fundraising gala will enable our staff to create a meaningful 9/11 Living Memorial tribute that will be preserved for future generations at the National September 11 Memorial Museum.

We hope that you will join us at this wonderful event!  To purchase tickets or find out more about the gala,   If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation. Please contact Michelle Doherty at (203) 966-3911, mdoherty@voicesofsept11.org for more information or to order your tickets by credit card.
