Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing to share the details about the memorial service planned for Beverly Eckert, our friend and colleague who tragically died in the plane crash last Thursday evening in Buffalo, New York.
Beverly’s family is holding a memorial service in Buffalo this Saturday, February 21st. The service will be held at 11:00am at St. Joseph's University Church located at 3269 Main Street, Buffalo, New York. A reception will follow at the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart, 3860 Main Street, Amherst, New York.
It is likely that a memorial service will be held in Stamford, CT in the near future. We will keep you informed as details are made available.
I want to thank each of you for your heartfelt words of encouragement and condolence. Your notes will be sent to Beverly’s family. As you know, Beverly was an important part of the 9/11 community, and her meaningful advocacy work supported the efforts of many organizations. We will miss her friendship and her commitment to making a difference.
