Dear Families and Friends,
It is with great sadness that I am writing to inform you about the sudden death of Clifton Maloney, husband of our good friend, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney.
As many of you know, Carolyn Maloney has been a strong advocate demonstrating unwavering support to address the numerous issues affecting the 9/11 community over the past 8 years.
On a personal note, I had the pleasure of working with Carolyn and her staff along with other 9/11 family members when we were advocating for the 9/11 Commission and legislation based on Commission recommendations. Carolyn was committed to our cause and one of our most powerful advocates. Her leadership continues today in her efforts to secure funding and services on behalf of the rescue and recovery workers who are suffering from medical conditions.
Many of you have worked with Carolyn over the years so we are including information below about how to send a condolence note, make a donation in Clifton's memory or attend his upcoming funeral service in New York City. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Carolyn and her family at this difficult time.
With warm regards,
Mary
