Dear Families and Friends,
On June 22, 2010 the New York Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) released information announcing the end of a three month process of searching for potential human remains in materials excavated from the WTC site. As a result of the sifting process 72 potential human remains were discovered and will be examined further by the Medical Examiner’s office for positive DNA identifications. In an effort to keep you informed we have included OCME’s Announcement regarding the details about the recent search.
