Dear Friends and Family members,
I am writing to you to ask that you join me in supporting the Zadroga Bill, which will come up for a vote before the Senate this Wednesday. This bill, formally called the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act (H.R. 847), will provide $3.2 billion for healthcare and $4.2 billion for compensation and other items for those rescuers and construction workers who worked at the World Trade Center site. I invite you to read these press releases and news stories about the status of the bill:

U.S. Reps. Carolyn Maloney, Jerrold Nadler, and Peter King, authors of H.R. 847, the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act, letter:
Those of us who lost loved ones on September 11th are well aware of the sacrifices made by those who rushed to the World Trade Center site, hoping to save lives and assist in the recovery operations. Today these rescue and recovery workers are suffering from PTSD and serious medical problems including lung disease and cancer. Many are unemployed and struggling to support their families. The Zadroga bill is scheduled to come up for a vote in the Senate on Wednesday. Please take a few minutes to contact your Senators and ask them to support this important legislation.
Visit the Feal Good Foundation website for more information.
Warm regards,
Mary Fetchet
