Remembering America's Heroes at the 9/11 Memorial
Wednesday, May 2nd
We have been asked to invite you to participate in a special ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial on Wednesday May 2nd to honor veterans and, in particular, those who have lost their lives in serving our country. This ceremony will be part of a 1,700 mile walk that will begin at West Point on May 1st and conclude n Dallas, Texas on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Led by U.S. Navy Seals, the walkers will include members of the military, veterans, first responders and survivors of the 9/11 attacks.
Family members, survivors and rescue workers are invited to participate in one of two ways:
- Join the walk on May 2nd at 10:00 am at 292 Madison Avenue at 41st Street.
You will walk from there to the 9/11 Memorial.
or
- Attend the ceremony on May 2nd at 11:15 am at the 9/11 Memorial.

The walk is sponsored by the Patriot Support Foundation and Carry The Load. You must register with them in advance in order to gain entrance to the 9/11 Memorial. For more information on the walk and to learn how you can register to attend, click here.
