Dear Families and Friends,
VOICES will host our 11th Anniversary Day of Remembrance Information Forum on September 10th at the Marriott Downtown Hotel, located at 85 West Street in NYC. This year's Forum will feature a special limited preview of In Memoriam, the memorial exhibition that will be part of the 9/11 Memorial Museum. In our recent survey 64.9% of the respondents said that they were interested in "hearing an update about the museum." We are very excited to provide an opportunity for each of you to attend the preview, which is tentatively scheduled to open at 11:00am and will be on display throughout the day.
 The preview will include two of the media components in the memorial exhibition. Touchscreen tables will enable visitors to learn about victims of the attacks through photos, profiles and mementoes that are part of the collection. Thirty profiles will be included in this exhibit. Some of the content for this part of the exhibition has been provided by those of you who worked with VOICES on the 9/11 Living Memorial Project.
A set of 10 sample profiles will be shown in the exhibition's inner chamber. This contemplative, interior space will provide a continuous presentation of the profiles of those lost in the 1993 and 2001 attacks.
 Museum staff will be on hand from 11:00am - 6:00pm to answer questions about the exhibition, to review exhibition materials for particular individuals and to accept any new materials families would like to contribute.
