VOICES News Alert

December 13, 2012

Dear Families and Friends,

If you are trying to think of a New Year's Resolution that will be both fun and helpful, why not resolve to come to one workshop (or all!) in this new series of VOICES Speaker Series events? They are informative, enjoyable and they are even FREE!

Voices of September 11th
2013 Speaker Series

"Getting Organized"
Thursday, January 24th - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Joan Melroy helps you start the New Year off right! Learn how to organize all the "new stuff" you got for the holidays alongside the "old stuff" you still need!

"Managing Stress"
Tuesday, February 19th - 10:30am to 12:00pm

Erin Palinski, the nationally recognized nutrition and fitness expert and author of the newly released "Belly Fat Diet for Dummies," tells us how to take control of stress instead of letting it control you.

"Meditation"
Friday, March 8th - 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Rebecca Li, a professor of Sociology at the College of New Jersey and a teacher of Dharma and Meditation classes, will discuss the principles and method of Chan Meditation. Learning how to meditate can help you live a more fulfilling and joyful life.

"Music Improvisation"
Friday, April 19th - 10:30am to 12:30pm

Lynn Saltiel will introduce you to free improvisation - a great way to play and celebrate music as you tap into your capacity for healing, stress-reduction and self-empowerment.

All series events will take place at the Voices of September 11th office at 84 Albany Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey. To make your reservation contact Suzanne Levy at 732-543-2300 or slevy@voicesofsept11.org.
