Connecticut Memorial Ceremony at Sherwood Island State Park - September 10th The state's 12th annual memorial ceremony honoring and celebrating the lives of those lost on September 11, 2001 will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10th.
Family members of those who lost their lives in the attacks will join the ceremony, and the names of the 161 victims with ties to Connecticut will be read aloud.
Westchester County Ceremony at The Rising - September 11th Westchester County will commemorate the 12th anniversary of September 11th at The Rising, the county's 9/11 memorial at the Kensico Dam in Valhalla, at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11th. A highlight of this year's ceremony will be the dedication of a Ground Zero beam, which will be permanently placed at The Rising.
Television Coverage of the Reading of the Names in New York City - September 11th Metropolitan New York television stations will again air the Reading of the Names Ceremony in New York City. The ceremony will be streaming live on their websites.
Pentagon Memorial Services - September 11th Special services will be held for the families of the victims of 9/11 at the Memorial on September 11, 2013.
Shanksville Memorial September 11th Observance - September 11th The Memorial will be open 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. The September 11th Observance will be an open air service that will include a reading of the names of the Flight 93 passengers and crew, ringing of the Bells of Remembrance, a wreath laying and brief remarks.
Voices of September 11th Annual Information Forum - September 10th We will again hold our Annual Information Forum at the Downtown Marriott Hotel, 85 West Street (at Albany Street). Registration begins at 8:00 am and the program will run from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Click Here for more information.
