Dear Families and Friends,
Our staff is busy finalizing plans for the annual Always Remember Gala. With just a week away, a few places are still available but reservations must be made by Monday, October 14th.
We are very excited to announce that our friend, Joan Lunden, will be returning to serve as the MC. Many of you will remember that Joan also served as MC at the 2009 gala when another member of the Clinton family was our keynote speaker!
Joan's assignment will be a challenging one - to keep our packed program moving along smoothly - but we know that the veteran host of Good Morning America is up to the task. In addition to Secretary Clinton's keynote remarks and the Building Bridges award presentation to Commissioner Kelly, Joe Daniels and Alice Greenwald will update us on the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. There is so much interest about the opening of the Museum that we know their presentations will be of special interest to you. The evening will end on an inspirational note when singer/songwriter Mary Fahl performs the song she wrote to honor the sacrifices of the 9/11 first responders.
Everything is in place for a memorable evening that we will Always Remember. We have included information below.....and hope to see you there!
|
Sincerely,
Mary Fetchet & the VOICES Staff
