Writing Workshop for 9/11 Responders and Survivors Begins June 15th

VOICES is pleased to announce A Beginners’ Non-Fiction Writing Workshop for 9/11 First Responders and Survivors.

The program is a series of five weekly workshops that will include a short reading and discussion, time for writing, and an opportunity for participants to share writing and receive supportive feedback in a non-judgmental, confidential setting. Sessions will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

Once again, the workshops will be facilitated by Angelique Tung, survivor of the 9/11 attacks. The workshops create a safe space for first responders and survivors to write stories about their personal experience on 9/11, and the years beyond. Participants can choose to submit their stories to be included in Voices of September 11th Living Memorial Project. NO writing experience is needed.

This workshop series is free and open to 9/11 responders and survivors. Space is limited to ten registrants to foster a community of trust.

Registration is required. Participants must commit to attend all five sessions.
