While grief is always painful, it sometimes feels intensified during this time of year. VOICES is offering a virtual workshop to explore and discuss our personal experiences of loss.
 
The presentation will consider what makes the holidays difficult and examine ways to help cope with the pain of grief. Participants will learn strategies they can use to continue on the journey of hope and healing during the holidays.
 
About the Presenter
Connie Palmer, LCSW
Connie Palmer, is a licensed clinical social worker, an experienced teacher, presenter, therapist, and school counselor, who has spent more than thirty years working with children, youth, and families. Ms. Palmer is the owner of Therapeutic Learning Connections which offers social, emotional learning workshops to community organizations, schools, and workplaces.
Connie is also a Grief Educator for Imagine, a Center for Coping with Loss in Mountainside, NJ which offers grief support groups and grief education.

Voices Center for Resilience assists communities in preparing for and recovering from tragedy, and provides long-term support and resources that promote mental health care and wellness, for victims' families, responders and survivors.
