Dear Friends,

Next month marks the 5th anniversary of Jennifer Dulos' murder. It is also the 25th anniversary of Nicole Brown Simpson's murder.

In the past 20 years, there have been more than 2,000 incidents of domestic violence in New Canaan reported to the police and the Domestic Violence Crisis Center.

On Thursday evening, May 30th, the New Canaan Abuse Prevention Partnership will hold an important community conversation about domestic violence at the New Canaan Library. The purpose is to raise awareness about an issue that impacts our entire community, give people the resources to help a friend or relative in need and to discuss ways to make New Canaan a safer and healthier place.

Warmly,
Dede
