“It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” – Epictetus

Join us for an informative and topical webinar with Dr. Suzanne Phillips and Dr. Craig Haen of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.

Given ongoing wars, political turmoil, climate change disasters, school shootings, personal trauma, loss and illness – it is understandable that many adults, teens, and children feel stressed.

This program will offer strategies for adults and children to build resilience. It will address coping with uncertainty, anxiety, worry, anger, fear, loneliness and loss.

Attendees will be able to:
Differentiate single-event and chronic trauma.
Identify at least two stressors in the current cultural environment, and how these impact adults and young people.
Define resilience and name one resilience-promoting strategy.
Give a strategy for dealing with worry that is effective for adults, teens, and children.
Provide an effective strategy to help with loneliness.

Participants are invited to submit questions ahead of time or during the presentation.
