David Paine & Jay Winuk - VOICES Legacy Honorees
David Paine & Jay Winuk
VOICES 2024 Legacy Honorees, David Paine and Jay Winuk are the co-founders of 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. Jay’s brother Glenn, an attorney, volunteer firefighter, and EMT, was killed at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

Moved by his brother's dedication to service, Jay joined with David to launch 9/11 Day to redefine September 11 as a day of doing good. Together, they built it into America’s largest service day, now recognized under federal law.

9/11 Day mobilizes millions in charitable engagement to honor those affected by the attacks and those who responded. Among its programs, it hosts large-scale volunteer projects nationwide every anniversary.

Julie Reiber - Musical Performance
Julie Reiber
Gala attendees will be treated to a musical performance by Broadway star Julie Reiber!

Julie is a Broadway staple and was a lead in the Tony Award-winning Come From Away. The show was based on the events in Gander, Newfoundland during the week following the September 11 attacks when 38 planes, carrying approximately 7,000 passengers, were ordered to land unexpectedly at Gander International Airport. Julie will also perform a song from Come From Away and song from another Broadway hit, Purlie.
