Providing Programs and Services for Those Impacted by Tragedy
 
VOICES programs provide continuity of care to address the evolving needs of victims’ families, responders and survivors. Services include individual consultations, referrals, peer support groups and psycho-educational webinars that promote healing and resilience. Our long-standing, trusted relationships with a myriad of organizations allow us to effectively coordinate services. VOICES has provided over 215,000 hours of meaningful social service support.

Education
Collaborating with Public-Private Partners to Share Lessons Learned
 
VOICES educational initiatives include our Annual NYC Symposium in September, monthly webinars and participation in local, national and international conferences. Partnerships are vital to our success. VOICES programs are held in collaboration with our 9/11 partners and professionals working in mental health, law enforcement, emergency management, counterterrorism, and victim services. Over 1,100 individuals from 24 states & 12 countries attended our Symposium in person and via livestream.

Training
Helping Families and Communities Prepare for Emergencies
 
VOICES Community Preparedness Training: A Victim-Centered Approach to Prepare for, Respond to, and Recover from Tragedy is based on 23 years of experience. Modules provide a comprehensive framework for an effective response to the immediate, short and long-term needs of those impacted by tragedy. The program prepares law enforcement, fire service, emergency managers, mental health and public health providers, NGOs, and faith-based organizations and the community-at-large. VOICES is broadening our reach in 2025 by offering preparedness training in person and online.

From 9/11 to today, helping families and communities heal after tragedy

Voices Center for Resilience assists communities in preparing for and recovering from tragedy, and provides long-term support and resources that promote mental health care and wellness, for victims' families, responders and survivors.
