Dear Families and Friends,
As we welcome the warmer weather, our enthusiastic luncheon committee is busy planning VOICES Building Bridges Luncheon, to be held on April 9th at the Country Club of New Canaan. This year we are honored to present Gunnar Esiason, Rare Disease Patient Advocate with the 2025 Building Bridges Award. ESPN Sports Personality Jeremy Schaap will join us to moderate a conversation. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now!
On March 11th, VOICES is hosting an important conversation with WTC Health Program advocates John Feal and Ben Chevat. They will discuss efforts to ensure funding for this vital program that provides critical medical and mental health care for thousands of survivors and responders. Tune in to learn how you can help.
Are you and your family prepared for an emergency? On March 18th, VOICES is hosting the first in a series of community workshops entitled Community Preparedness Training: Preparing Individuals and Families for an Emergency in partnership with New Canaan Emergency Management and local organizations.
Last month VOICES hosted a webinar with Dr. Jason Graham, NYC Chief Medical Examiner, and his staff who provided updates on the ongoing identification process. A rebroadcast of the webinar is scheduled on March 20 for family members who were not able to attend.
A special note of interest to our golfing members – registration is now open for VOICES 11th Annual Golf Outing, which will be held on Monday, June 9 at the majestic Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, New York.
As always, we hope to see you at our upcoming events. Please contact us by email at support@voicescenter.org or call 203-966-3911 if we can be of assistance.
With warm regards,
Mary Fetchet & the VOICES Team
