Join us for VOICES Building Bridges Luncheon, Honoring Stewards of Memory on Friday, April 17th at the Country Club of New Canaan. This year’s event holds special meaning as we mark the 25th Anniversary of VOICES and honor the legacy of September 11, 2001.
Alice Greenwald, James Young, Michael Arad
As we mark this important milestone, we are delighted to recognize Alice Greenwald and James Young, two extraordinary leaders whose work has helped shape how we remember the victims, document history, and carry forward the lessons of that day.

Alice and James were profoundly influential in preserving the history of 9/11 - Alice, while serving as President and CEO of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and James, a world-renowned scholar in memory, while on the selection committee that chose the final memorial design. Both are experts in memorializing historical tragedies. Their prior experience shaping how the Holocaust is remembered, influenced their involvement in designing and interpreting the 9/11 Memorial.

Pictured above are Alice and James alongside Michael Arad, the architect who, along with Peter Walker, designed “Reflecting Absence,” the two large reflecting pools in the footprints of the Twin Towers

We hope you will join us for this meaningful gathering as we honor their contributions and continue building bridges through memory, education, and community.

Funds raised from the event, help support VOICES steadfast commitment to provide long-term support for victims’ families, responders and survivors, as well as community-based programs that assist those impacted by loss and grief. We hope you will join us for this important commemoration!
